Thank you for visiting the JDLS Home Page. After twenty five plus years in the Law Enforcement field I have retired as an Investigator from the Webster Police Department in Upstate New York. I am now employed as a Security Account Manager for a exclusive residential gated community in an area where "Life is really worth Living" :). My better half was in the Monroe County Sheriffs Office in NYS as a supervisor in the jail bureau for eighteen years before she became disabled by an on the job injury. Unfortunately unlike any other department their lack of support for a sworn Deputy Sheriff that was documented in the line of duty injury with subsequent surgery along with the never ending pain is in a legal battle after five years and still fighting for benefits? Needless to say I am ashamed to link her department on our webpage. I can however predict unlike her departments administration that truth and honor will eventually prevail. Update--As predicted in 2005 my better half received full retirement disability~~Imagine that? :)
