Who we are
JDL Solutions is a software and IT company in Doha, Qatar (commercial registration 227520). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use www.jdls.net, contact us, or interact with our pages and ads.
We are the organisation responsible for that information. You can reach us at [email protected] or +974 3336 6158.
What this policy covers
It covers visitors to this website, people who message us through the contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp, and people who message our Facebook Page, contact our Instagram account, or respond to our ads. It also covers information our own Meta app reads from our Facebook Page, Instagram account, and ad account so we can run and measure our marketing.
It does not cover websites or apps we build for clients. Those products have their own policies.
Information we collect
Depending on how you reach us, we handle the following.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. We store the enquiry so we can reply and keep a record of it.
- Email, phone, and WhatsApp: the details you send us, so we can respond.
- Visiting the site: our host and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, may process connection data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use that to run and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, or a Meta Pixel on this website.
- Appearance: your light or dark mode choice is stored in your browser on this device only. It is not sent to our server.
- Site admin: a login cookie is set only for JDL staff who sign in to the private admin area. It is not used to track visitors.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Reply to enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
- Keep a record of business conversations.
- Run, protect, and improve this website.
- Measure how our own posts and ads perform, and manage our advertising.
- Meet legal duties that apply to us in Qatar.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use a visit to this website to build an advertising profile of you.
Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp
We use Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to talk with customers and to advertise JDL Solutions. Meta processes those services under its own terms.
Our app, JDL Insights and Ads, is used by JDL Solutions only. It connects to our own business assets: our Facebook Page, our Instagram account, and our ad account. With it we can:
- Read Page and Instagram content and performance, such as views, reach, likes, saves, shares, and watch time.
- Create, manage, and measure ads, including spend, impressions, and results such as WhatsApp conversations.
- Receive the details a person chooses to submit on a lead form in one of our ads, such as a name, phone number, or email address.
Visitors do not log in to this website with Facebook. The app does not ask visitors of www.jdls.net for a Facebook or Instagram account.
If you message us, or submit a form on one of our ads, we use those details only to respond and to keep a record of that enquiry. You can control what you share with Pages, Instagram, and ads in your Meta settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond and to keep an ordinary business record, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. We may keep a record where Qatar law requires it, or where we need it to handle a dispute.
Connection logs held by our host and by Cloudflare are kept only for the time needed to run and protect the site.
Performance figures from our posts and ads are business statistics. They are not a separate customer list, except where someone has sent us their details.
Your requests, including deletion
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy request, or use the contact page. We reply to a clear request. We may ask you to confirm that you are the person the information is about.
If you want us to stop using your details for that conversation, tell us and we will stop. Messages you send through WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram are also handled by Meta, and you can delete or control them in those apps.
We handle these requests under the laws of Qatar, including Law No. 13 of 2016 on the protection of personal data privacy, where it applies.
Children
This website and our advertising are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
We are based in Doha, Qatar. The website is hosted by us and delivered through Cloudflare. Meta operates Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp internationally. When you contact us through those services, or when we measure our ads, your information may be processed outside Qatar by those providers, under their own terms.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
